The effort that goes into not making the effort.

Suitable for 4-10 year-olds, I originally wrote this for Comic Relief’s ‘Red Nose Day’ fundraising effort in the UK, but it didn’t raise any funds, so I re-did it, only without all the references to Comic Relief (I did have permission to use their name at the time).

Young Max won’t stop picking his nose. His Mum thinks making him wear his red nose will achieve this. Max doesn’t like the idea, until he is told that Gran is coming over. Now he needs a way to stop her kissing him when she arrives…

Written in England, illustrated in Morocco, scored in France, graphic touches were added in Sri Lanka, then back to England to be edited, this small but plucky project has an acquired but international flavour.
